Organisation profile:The unit agro-environment focuses on the relation between agriculture and the environment. Development of ecosystem services to develop biodiversity in the agro environment and to reduce the emissions from agriculture to the environment is in the scope of the research program, as well as the development of functional agro biodiversity systems. A third pillar is the research on innovative production systems, eg agroforestry.
