Care ethics in palliative care

With this action research project we want to develop an understanding of how ethical competencies of palliative caregivers can be enhanced by an experiential approach and what the impact is of this approach on the ethical climate of the palliative care setting.
The goal of this project is to develop, implement and evaluate an intervention in support of an ethics of care culture in a palliative care setting. The intervention includes a range of experiences and ‘exposure’ and the installation of ‘learning community’ which will encourage the participants to grow into ‘reflective practitioners’.
