ICON Project PolyFlam: Polyol based Flame retardants and lubricants (VLACAT1)

The aim of the PolyFlam project is to create new technological knowledge and intellectual property leading to new economic and renewable value chains in Flanders, starting from the (catalytic) conversion of short chain ketoses into longer chain branched sugars and polyols, subsequent functionalisation and finally
formulation into lubricant, emollient and flame-retardant products and applications.
