Accurate short-term wind turbine Energy-yield forecasting

In this PhD activity we want to develop an accurate short term forecast model (5-15 min ahead) to forecast the E-yield of wind turbines based on a physics-based bottom up approach. This will require new research concepts. The aim of this PhD activity is to achieve better E-yield accuracy by exploiting extrapolatable physics-based models that are sufficiently fast for online execution. Incorporating fast system scenario concepts to reuse modeling info from earlier periods will also be studied as part of the solution direction.
