A theoretical framework for a satellite account for the undeclared economy

This PhD aims at (i) defining a theoretical framework for constructing a satellite account that measures the size and structure of the informal economic activities that imply tax and social contributions evasion and avoidance, and the impact on public finances; (ii) demonstrating how it can be implemented in a specific to be chosen country, and (iii) demonstrating how it can contribute to more transparency in East-west comparisons.
