KU Leuven Child and Youth Institute: Growing Science for Children (L-C&Y)

The KU Leuven Child and Youth Institute (L-C&Y) provides an interdisciplinary platform for all KU Leuven researchers across disciplines and groups, who study any aspect related to child and youth development, in health and disease, from preconception to emerging adulthood, including the range of contexts that shape human development to all its diversities. The goal is to merge existing expertises to cross-fertilize research activities, create new expertises and synergisms and to assist on training of the next generation of researchers. The L-C&Y institute hereby explicitly reaches out to society and its stakeholders to both implement the results of research activities to assist child and youth development, as a sustainable as well as to be nourished and inspired on future research lines.
