Variation and change in constructional semantics

The project is situated at the intersection of

construction grammar, historical linguistics, and variationist

sociolinguistics On the basis of extensive qualitative and quantitative corpus

research into the semantic properties of Dutch argument structure

constructions across regional, stylistic, and diachronic varieties of the

language, the project aims to identify and analyze patterns of intralingual

variation and change in constructional semantics.
