From routing to evacuation in a 3D GIS

The main goal of this research is to facilitate indoor navigation and combined indoor-outdoor navigation. The focus is on defining the specific user and environmental context of indoor navigation, the uniform definition of 3D indoor networks and the abstract modeling of indoor space. Applications are developed in the evacuation field with accessibility calculations of building exits.
