PRO3: Prefab renovation solutions for the commercial building sector (PRO3-1)

This research focuses on lightweight prefabricated renovation solutions that permit to renovate the existing building shell in a quick and repeatable way. Omwillen of their scale, and the preservation of functionality during work provides the building tertiary sector (offices, hospitals, schools ...) many opportunities for prefab renovation. Unlike other countries, where prefab renovation is applied already prevails in Flanders to lack of experience and confidence. This research aims to stimulate prefab renovation Flanders.
