AI-driven applications in economics and finance: assessment of novel algorithms and data related cybersecurity solutions.
In this PhD, we will concentrate on applications involving economic and financial data sets and time series as well as real-time analysis pipelines, potentially in close collaboration with banking and financial institutions all from an AI-perspective in combination with cybersecurity. As such, the topic embodies AI, Economics and Cybersecurity for which the challenges will be assessed and potential novel solutions will be developed, analyzed and applied for specific use cases in different settings: how to safeguard data and algorithms from hacking and privacy infringement, how do guarantee the truthfulness of data and results, etc…
