Decision Support for Sustainable Water Solutions (Waterwijzer)

The "WATERWIJZER" project aims to develop tools that enable further advancements beyond current rainwater systems, specifically in the development of innovative water-saving measures such as greywater systems and water-efficient sanitary appliances. These tools will support making well-informed decisions regarding their implementation. The primary output of this project is a user-friendly decision-support software. This new software, which can be used without requiring extensive prior knowledge, is capable of proposing and comparing various technologies based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Return on Investment (ROI), and Environmental Impact (EI). The software will be integrated into the existing Groenblauwpeil platform, thereby ensuring broad applicability and ease of use. In addition, five practical technical guides will be published to provide the target audience with in-depth information on the selected measures. These will be complemented by an inspirational compendium and a manual addressing the legal aspects.
