The development of NIR emitting persistent luminescent nanomaterials for medical imaging

The central objective of this research is to provide a convincing and innovative application and a deep-level explanation of NIR emitting persistent luminescent nanomaterials. This research will focus on the effective synthesis of chromium or manganese doped nanomaterials and the optimization of the persistent luminescent behavior. Such persistent luminescent nanomaterials
have great potential for an improved medical imaging application.
