Digital Transformation in Contemporary Dance Rehearsal

The unprecedented Covid-19 also has led dance and performing arts artists to consider the possibility of using digital tools to employ in performing arts exhibitions or even in the rehearsal process or the making, although it has been anticipated before by some choreographers and artists. This research will answer some questions on strategies, approaches, and methodological development of dance knowledge, especially in the rehearsal process along with the digital transformation era. The answers to the questions provide a description of the use of explorative approaches in the Indonesian online rehearsal of performing arts and its implications for the application of the approaches to define the implementation and success of online rehearsal.
