Electrification is just one of the solutions, but many other alternatives, such as hydrogen, HVO, biodiesel, bio-LNG, and e-diesel, need to be considered as well. The NAFT project helps companies navigate this rapidly evolving market and determine the best course of action. What does NAFT offer? NAFT supports companies in exploring, analyzing, and evaluating alternative fuels through six key pillars: Overview of available fuels: Inventory of existing and emerging fuels, including practical considerations. Review of legislation and policy: Insights into relevant EU directives and national regulations that influence investment decisions. Industry perspectives: Future plans and developments of truck manufacturers and fuel suppliers. Strategic framework: A flexible and up-to-date model that helps companies make well-informed decisions. Scenario analysis: Assessment of potential future scenarios and their impact on business strategies. Investment decision toolkit: Practical toolkit for calculating ROI and TCO to optimize the financial feasibility of fuel choices.
