A practically oriented inquiry as to the current Belgian system of criminal procedure's constraints, for the purpose of drafting a new system of criminal procedure.

This research aims to identify constraints within the current system of criminal procedure. Firstly, these will be identified through literature and the input of respondents to questionnaires. Additionally, interesting experts will be asked to participate in focus groups and interviews. The integration of comparative legal research will allow for a final report, which reflects the research findings and includes recommendations.
