Project
Preclinical and Clinical Imaging of Nanovesicular Therapeutics
This project is aiming to develop and validate novel readouts for preclinical and clinical assessment of the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and toxicology of Nanovesicular therapeutics. In particular, this doctoral thesis aims to (1) develop methods to quantitatively and dynamically track nanovesicles in preclinical models using advanced imaging methodologies in order to link exposures to pharmacodynamics and (2) explore how these methods may be translated into clinically viable, minimally invasive tracking (imaging) of nanovesicles, with applications focused on respiratory and infectious diseases.
