A sensor based breath analysing device.

We have developed a chemo-optical sensor platform that might fulfil the requirements of the ideal breath analysing device for Point-Of-Care Testing (POCT). Breath analysis is emerging as a valuable non-invasive clinical diagnostic tool. The cornerstone of our technology is the use of atomic layer deposition engineered nanoporous films. We have protected this innovative approach by two patent applications. The objective of GALE is to develop the essential conditions to start the early commercial stage of a breath analysis technology platform, with ammonia sensing as first application.
