Social security, territoriality and the principle of assimilation. An exploration of the outer limits of the principle of non-discrimination.

The new principle of assimilation prescribes the equal treatment of facts in the assessment of the social security position of migrants in the European Union. This project aims to unveil the obscurities surrounding the scope and application of this principle, as well as its incidence on national social security schemes and the European coordination thereof.
