Socially vulnerable young people and their leisure time spending: towards a lifeworld orientation

Research on young people’s leisure time participation dominantly focusses on guiding socially
vulnerable young people into organized leisure contexts. In this research project we rely on the
lifeworld orientation to gain more insight into the meaning of leisure for socially vulnerable young
people and how youth workers can develop leisure activities that are meaningful for a diverse
group of youngsters.
