Training Initiative in healthcare: Care Idea (R-5445)

In response to Zorgidee, the symposium organized by LifeTechLimburg that focusses on care innovation, the organization Into D'ementia was contacted to place their dementia simulation cabin at the university campus in Diepenbeek for a few days. To this, two activities were linked. First, in collaboration with the colleges KHLim and PXL and the ExpertiseCentrum Dementie a trainingday was organized to which these partners could invite participants, with a large range. It is to say either is function of education or in function of creating such projects (herein dementia simulation is seen as a project, in which one by using technology achieves care improvement: better trained people lead to better care). In total 16 places were provided. In addition, at Zorgidee we provided the opportunity for the visiting public to discover, via a shortened program, the opportunities of such a simulation and to draw inspiration out of this to set up their own projects.
