Project
Trans-Training (TRANS-TRAINING)
The Trans-Training project aims to promote employment in the biocontrol sector in the cross-border region of France - Wallonia - Flanders. By providing specialized training and promoting entrepreneurship, the project contributes to the creation of high-quality jobs and economic growth. The goal is to improve the effectiveness and inclusiveness of the labor market through innovative learning pathways and cooperation between education, farmers, businesses and organizations.
Research approach
The project includes six work packages, ranging from project management to communication activities and event organization. The approach is cross-border. Through internships, hackathons and awareness sessions, entrepreneurship is promoted and new methods and technologies are introduced in the biocontrol sector. Within the project, concrete training materials are developed and disseminated through the organization of workshops and theme days. Results from other projects within the Biocontrol 4.0 portfolio will be used to disseminate knowledge and skills to students, job seekers and professionals.
Relevance/Valorisation
The Trans-Training project is of great importance for the sustainable development of the agricultural sector in the cross-border region. The valorization of the project includes the dissemination of knowledge and good practices, as well as the development of innovative biocontrol products. The cooperation between different partners ensures a broad impact and contributes to the objectives of the European Green Deal and other relevant policies.
