Water Conscience Building: Code of Good Practice

Abstract:To ensure that all
knowledge and insights from the project do not evaporate, the research team
published this Code of Good Practice. This reference work bundles as much
knowledge as possible from the project so that the construction world can be
further sensitized through this medium, inspired and, above all, initiated to
continue working on the water-conscious design of our buildings and
environment. It includes technical data sheets of various techniques for
purifying domestic wastewater (gray and black), and conclusions of the
measurement results during the research. All example projects as well as pilot
projects are summarized in standardized project sheets with a description of
the ecological and innovative impact of the projects, an overview of the techniques
used and a summary of the technical, organizational and legal bottlenecks per
project.
