  • Research Expertise  (University of Antwerp):At present, my expertise has led to traditional legal research outcomes, more in particular, to articles in legal journals, annotations of case law and contributions to collective works. Those publications focus mainly on the theoretical frameworks behind on remedies in contract law and on how to implement those frameworks in legal practice.

  • Disciplines  (University of Antwerp):Civil law, Comparative law, Legal theory, jurisprudence and legal interpretation
  • Research techniques  (University of Antwerp):So far, I have used traditional legal research techniques, more in particular a hermeneutical approach to all kinds of legal formants (legislation, case law ...)
  • Users of research expertise  (University of Antwerp):This expertise can be particularly useful for social and economic researchers who wish to embed their research in a legal framework. The internal normativity of law (and its coherence), which I can further explain thanks to my expertise, can offer a legal framework that can complement the theoretical frameworks social and economic researchers already use.
