Research in the Geometry Section is focussed on differential geometry, in particular on Riemannian and pseudo-Riemannian geometry and on Poisson geometry and symplectic geometry: curves and surfaces; curvature theory; submanifold theory; homogeneous spaces; deformation theory; (singular) foliations and Lie groupoids; physical applications.
