OptiFood: Research into applications of advanced wave-based analysis technologies and data science within the food sector.

In OptiFood, the application of advanced optical technologies and data science for the objective measurement of quality parameters in the food sector is explored. The project focuses on improving both offline and inline quality control through (hyper)spectral (type line scan) and laser technology. It investigates whether optical techniques can complement or replace traditional methods, which new quality characteristics can be monitored, and how SMEs can be supported in the implementation of these technologies
