Valorization of cellulosic biomass with the use of advanced enzymatic extraction
The main target of the research project is the efficient valorization of the food wastes with the use of an enzymatic assisted process. The enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulosic materials has been studied in depth, the role of the presence of phenolic compounds in the biomass during the hydrolysis has been enlightened and the mechanism behind this process has been studied in detail.
