Korte inhoud:The procedure for reviewing the Belgian Constitution, anchored in its Article 195, is a very rigid one. This poses problems if a new obligation of international law or EU law must be complied with even though it violates a provision of the Constitution. This contribution describes several examples of such conflicts and suggests an amendment of Article 195 of the Constitution in order to solve such conflicts in the future.
