Method of manufacturing planarly-aligned nanorods assemblies which include liquid cristals

Please find enclosed the IDF which we would like to submit about the alignment of nanorods with the help of liquid crystal molecules. This concerns a recent research result that has been obtained in our group and may have several applications. The most obvious one is a polarized light emitter.
