Four smut fungi new for Belgium

During the period August-October 2021, four smut species new to the Belgian mycoflora have been collected in northern Belgium: Melanopsichium pennsylvanicum on Persicaria lapathifolia, Tracya hydrocharidis on Hydrocharis morsus-ranae, Tracya lemnae on Spirodela polyrhiza and Nannfeldtiomyces sparganii on Sparganium erectum. These collections are briefly described and illustrated.
